Tuesday night, Washingtonians — from media personalities to politicos, creatives, VIPs and other Beltway influencers — helped celebrate the 5th anniversary of boutique PR agency, MoKi Media.
Between bites of chicken potpie, tuna tartare and sweet ganache cake pops, guests at the fete held in the Georgetown Boffi-Maxaltoshowroom dished on their favorite Moki moments with each other. MokiMedia principals Dannia Hakki and Sherry Moeller (in lead image) greeted supporters, friends — and many clients from the wide range of their publicity business.
ABC 7 reporter Scott Thuman was there, as was NBC 4 meteorologist Doug Kammerer (a MokiMedia event regular!) and sports anchor Jason Pugh, salon and spa owners Luigi Parasmo and Javier Calvo, nightlife emperor Vinoda Basnayake, Washington Wholesale’s David Kim and Glen Hodge, and Echostage’s Antonis Karagounis, Pete Kalamoutsosand Andre DeMoya.
More RSVP Catering, Moet, and specialty Belvedere cocktails, brought out Onomonomedia photo booth fun. Props included congratulatory signs for the company, which peppered DC’s social media accounts immediately with memories hashtagged #MoKiMedia5Year. As the night progressed, the studio showroom turned into a scene-y dance party with live music by DJ Biks.
