A Last Look Inside the National Harbor Snow Globe
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be inside a snow globe, this one comes pretty close.
This weekend is your last chance to chill inside the Summer Snow Globe inside National Harbor’s special events venue the Harbor Dome. Savor the last days of “winter” by keeping cool inside the 64-degree dome, with periodic dustings of real snow, while enjoying a selection of specially created cocktails by Gina Chersevani of Buffalo and Bergen.
You can even step outside to remind yourself what summer swelter feels like… and play a game of snowball cornhole on the accompanying lawn while thawing out at picnic tables with friends.
The weekend’s musical lineup includes:
- 9/1 – Mary-eL (7pm-8:15pm) and The Loving Paupers (8:30pm – 10pm)
- 9/2 — Backbeat Underground(7pm – 8:30pm) and Three Man Soul Machine (8:45pm – 10pm)
- 9/3 — No Doubt/ Blink182/Weezer Tribute Bands (2pm – 6pm)
On Saturday guests are encouraged to wear white one last time before Labor Day for the Summer Snow Globe White Out Party. (If you do, you’ll receive half off Mountain Dew White Label Cocktails, such as Tropical Ice, while supplies last!)
This is the kind of event that makes you look forward to cooler weather because it reminds you of the things that bring comfort and joy.
The Summer Snow Globe is open to the public at the National Harbor until September 3rd.
