It’s Almost Always Happy Hour at This New NoMa Oyster Bar

King Street Oyster Bar has two locations in Northern Virginia (Leesburg and Middleburg), and now has a Capital cousin in NoMa.  Foodies know that if you’re looking for gumbo, a lobster roll, or even grilled fillet minion, they have it. But obviously oysters are the main attraction here.

King Street Oyster Bar has a rotating assortment of a dozen varieties sourced from both coasts and Canda.

“There’s nothing better than enjoying East Coast oysters 24 hours out of the water, and West Coast oysters just 48 ours out of the water.  That’s what we’re proud to offer our oyster loving guests,” says restaurant partner Rick Allison.

We love oysters, but there’s something about this place that we love even more. King Street Oyster Bar NoMa has two Happy Hours.  The first — a long one — from 3 – 7 pm, boasts $1 oyster deals as well as $5 bar bites and beverages. Then, an additional late night Happy Hour takes place Sunday through Thursday from 10 pm to close.

It’s almost always Happy Hour at this oyster oasis!

Pro Tip: King Street Oyster Bar has brunch service as well, from 11 am to 3 pm both Saturdays and Sundays.
