Inside Thos Moser’s Benefit for Room to Rebloom
Thos. Moser’s Georgetown Showroom Manager Kevin Sweitzer and his team, Assistant Showroom Manager Tucker Riner and Sales Associate Ed Myrtle, hosted an intimate evening event earlier in March to raise awareness for the nonprofit Room to Rebloom, established to help survivors of domestic abuse make their homes beautiful as they reestablish their lives.
During the gathering, Thos. Moser offered a sneak peek of its newest designs, including the Auburn Chair and Stool and the Sequel Chair and Table, which are being released in the Spring catalog and in April during Tom Moser’s five-city book tour. (Tom will be in Washington, DC on Saturday, April 23 from 1-4 pm to sign complimentary copies of his latest book, Thos. Moser: Legacy in Wood. Event guests also received copies of the book.)
Room to Rebloom’s Board of Directors Liz Levin, an interior designer, Enid McKitrick, a clinical social worker, and Lyn McGann, a nonprofit expert, shared info about their mission with other interior designers including Annie Elliott, Sara Costello, Betsy Stires and Jana Abel, EasyPaint’s John Rosen, as well as with business and residential neighbors including Boffi Showroom Manager Julia Walter, B&B Italia Showroom Manager Brian Fell, and DC Design House Co-Founders Skip and Debbie Singleton. Other guests were writers Deborah Dietsch and Jennifer Sergent.
