This August, The Hay-Adams is uncorking a fresh reason to chase the sunset with “Where Evenings Be-Gin,“ a limited-time pop-up transforming the exclusive Top of the Hay into an elegant English garden-inspired escape overlooking the White House, the Washington Monument, and the National Mall.

Equal parts botanical bliss and Beltway beauty, the golden-hour gathering celebrates the timeless gin and tonic with a curated collection of floral, fruit-forward, and herbaceous cocktails designed for leisurely sipping as the city’s skyline glows.

The seasonal lineup includes The Botanical, blending The Botanist gin with Chambord, elderflower tonic, lemon, and raspberry; The Gardener’s G&T, featuring McClintock Gardener’s Gin accented with Mediterranean tonic and dried lavender; the vibrant Empress, mixing Empress 1908 Indigo Gin with basil and blackberry; the refreshing Sunset Sipper, combining Hendrick’s Gin with watermelon juice and lime; and Golden Orchard, pairing Tanqueray London Dry Gin with peach, rosemary, and premium tonic. Those skipping the spirits can still join the soirée with the Top of the Hay G&T, a sophisticated alcohol-free creation made with Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Dry London Spirit, grapefruit, and rosemary.
