Fun in the Sun: The Liaison Opens Renovated Rooftop Pool to the Public
Last week, The Liaison Capitol Hill hotel (in partnership with Washingtonian Magazine) unveiled a new rooftop ready for fun in the sun. Renovated with modern chic digs, guests took a dip in the pool and relaxed under cabanas with some sangria by their side.
Beyond the revamped exterior, Art and Soul chef Douglas Alexander released a versatile summer menu. You can order a flight of your favorite summer picnic foods or live extravagantly with a bottle of top shelf liquor.
Along with its new look, The Liaison Capitol Hill is also hosting some exciting weekly events. Looking to support local non-profits?
Swing by on Tuesdays and 10 to 15 percent of your beverage and food bill will go straight to the Districtâs community.
Trying to find new local restaurants to try out this summer?
Come by on Wednesdays for featured local guest chefs, bartenders, and others.
Trying to drink and enjoy some art?
Saturday is the day for you if you like live music and live painting.
While most hotel and rooftop pools in DC require an expensive night stay or high membership fees, a day pass is only $35 for a day of perfect, sunny bliss. (Plus after 5 pm, itâs free to get in!)
Although itâs not a complete perfect view of the sunset (somewhat blocked by buildings), the roofâs up-and-coming atmosphere certainly makes up for it.
