Colada Shop So Nice, It Opens Thrice – New Location at the Wharf!

Sandwiches at Colada Shop

Colada Shop, that casual café and eatery with the colorfully instagrammable Cuban ambiance, is opening a third location in the Fall of 2019at the Wharf (10 Pearl Street SW).

“We are beyond excited to come to the District Wharf – now one of D.C.’s most exciting neighborhoods,” said Daniella Senior, President of Colada Shop. “This third outpost will bring a more dynamic interpretation of our sister locations in Loudoun County, VA and Logan Circle, but will have the same energy, vibrancy, and – of course – incredible Cuban bites and drinks.”

Wharf’s Colada will “embrace a slightly more formal Café setting with servers bringing orders to your table,” according to a press release.  Guests will still delight in Executive Chef Mario Monte’s menu and Juan Coronado’s libations.  Additionally, an independent bar area will allow cocktail aficionados to “mingle throughout the space and interact with skilled bartenders.”

Make sure to stop by this location at the Wharf — or either of its sisters — for that essential Cuban-inspired coffee menu and to share binge on a Colada (4oz of Cuban-style espresso traditionally meant to be enjoyed with others).

  • So good. We are lucky to have one here in Loudoun. The “Colada” is basically 4 Miami style “Cuban Coffees” — They also make a fresh soup daily that is awesome. Cant wait to go to the Wharf and check it out!
