Fall Festival on Woodrow Wilson Plaza
On Wednesday, October 28, the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) invites families, downtown workers and visitors to celebrate the season at its annual Fall Festival on Woodrow Wilson Plaza. This free outdoor event brings autumn fun to the heart of the nation’s capital with interactive activities, festive entertainment and seasonal flavors.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., plaza guests can enjoy lively fall-themed activities like pumpkin decorating, a hay bale maze, face painting, balloon twisting, stilt walkers and music from a live DJ.
Adding a playful twist to the festivities, the National Children’s Museum will bring its Pumpkin Catapults activity, inviting young explorers to discover force and motion as they launch mini pumpkins toward targets. Community partners Bambini Child Development Center and Triangle Tots Bright Horizons will also offer creative, hands-on activities.
Sip complimentary hot cider while enjoying seasonal bites and global flavors from Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP), which will host its final market of the 2026 season during the celebration.
Whether dressed in costume, taking a midday break or enjoying a family outing, visitors can experience a festive fall escape right in the heart of Downtown DC.
The event is weather permitting. Activities are available while supplies last.
