Bottomless Brunch Is Back! Now at The Boulevard
There was a golden age of brunch in DC when $35 could get you a table, a rotating array of delcious dishes, and enough bottomless drinks to make Sunday afternoon feel like a minor holiday.
The Boulevard seems to remember.
The Clarendon-area restaurant has launched its new Endless Brunch Experience, a 90-minute, all-you-can-eat Sunday spread that feels like a throwback to those gloriously excessive brunches… only with a little more sushi and a slightly higher price tag. It’s $40 per person, and for that, you can keep ordering your way through brunch favorites, seafood, sushi, sides, and sweets.
The move is simple: if it looks good, order it.
Caviar Deviled Eggs? Yes. Crab Benedict? Obviously. Chicken & Waffles? Add it. Steak & Eggs? Why not. There are also sushi classics and seasonal desserts, meaning this is less a traditional brunch plate and more a choose-your-own-adventure situation.
And that’s really the fun of it. Instead of agonizing over whether you want the Benedict or the chicken and waffles, you can try both. See something interesting across the table? Order it. Spot a sushi roll you didn’t expect to want at 11:47 on a Sunday morning? Go. For. It.
In fact, order generously at the beginning. When KSM experienced this brunch on opening Sunday our service was a bit slow (grace was given — it was the launch!), so getting several dishes going early is the move if you’re trying to make the most of the 90-minute window. The whole point is to graze, sample, and go back for favorites, not spend half the experience waiting to place the next order.
Then there are the drinks.
Mimosas and Bellinis are just $2 during the Endless Brunch Experience, although there is one important catch: the entire table has to participate in the brunch experience. (Translation: This is not a situation where one person orders the endless feast while everyone else freeloads off the vibes.)
The Boulevard’s Sunday setup runs from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm every Sunday and there’s something nostalgic about the whole thing. Before brunch became a carefully curated lifestyle category, bottomless meant bottomless, tables were crowded with plates, and nobody thought twice about ordering three different entrées because they all sounded good.
The Boulevard’s Endless Brunch Experience taps into that spirit without pretending brunch needs to be particularly serious.
At $40, it’s absolutely affordable — and dare we say dangerously close to the $35 bottomless brunches of yesteryear. So if you arrive hungry, order early, and treat the menu like a buffet delivered to your table, there’s plenty of reason to embrace the abundance.
