WashHumane Hosts a ‘Pet-A-Palooza’
The Washington Humane Society (WHS) hosted its annualĀ DC Walk for the Animals & Pet-A-Palooza, offering a day of fun for both two- and four-legged members of the family.
Individuals and teams with their canine friends walked one mile to raise awareness and funding for WHS. Ā Additionally, Pet-A-Palooza included aĀ festival of games, contests, and activities for kids, adults, and dogs.
Adopt Force One, the WHS mobile adoption vehicle, wasĀ onsite with adoptable animals looking to find their forever homes. Ā To sweeten an already adorable deal, WHS adopters had the chance to become theĀ Grand Marshal of the Walk … helping kick off festivities for the day.
