Union Market’s Latin Marketplace, La Cosecha, Officially Opening This Week

The Union Market District’s highly anticipated Latin marketplace, La Cosecha (1280 4th Street NE) has been bringing out crowds for its soft opening events — like the Latin America and The Caribbean Creative Fest last weekend — but it will officially open this week with a four-day schedule.

Partners, like Zona E HomeNOVA BOSSA and Serenata, will open their doors to showcase the rich heritage of Latin sips and styles, while Peruvian Brothers, La CasitaAmparoEl CieloMosaico (from the team behind Arepa Zone) and FILOS Bakery will offer a taste of what’s to come in a pop-up capacity. Rumor has it Grand CataAli PachaCafé Unido and Zumo are also coming soon.

Market-goers will explore a selection of rotating retail carts, including vendors like Arcay ChocolatesAdelante Shoe Co. and ArtTepuy, known for their handmade baskets and crafts, while also taking in the destination’s media lab, culinary immersion studio dubbed “Galería,” and event space.

Starting October 3, La Cosecha’s opening hours will be:

  • Thursdays: 11am-10pm
  • Fridays + Saturdays: 11am-midnight
  • Sundays: 11am-6pm
