THRōW Social™ DC and Kick Axe Throwing® Open in Ivy City

Ivy City’s new adult playground is two venues in one, and this winter/warm weather wonderland is already a hot spot for sporty social fun.

With 12 axe-throwing ranges, 5 curling rinks, and 6 footbowl ranges, THRōW Social™ DC and Kick Axe Throwing® opened to excited crowds on Friday (February 7, 2020). The entry-level space reminisces of an Aspen ski lodge with Kick Axe Throwing®, while upstairs takes you to Palm Beach with Throw Social™.

While in Aspen, see if you can hit the bullseye with an axe — after a lesson from a pro, of course — hang out by a cozy fireplace with sparkling wine, beer or collect friends for an ‘après ski’ shotski!

Upstairs, try your hand at curling and footbowl (a soccer plus bowling combination).  You never know when a Gold Medal Olympic Curler might show up… Tyler George from the U.S. team was handing out pro-tips on opening night.
