Some of Our Favorite World Series Victory Parade Day Parties

The Washington Nationals may have finished the fight, but the party is just getting started! The World Series championship victory parade will take to the streets at 2 pm on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, beginning on Constitution Avenue Northwest at 15th Street and ending on Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest at 3rd Street with a team rally.

But along the way…  stop by The Occidental (1475 Pennsylvania Ave NW). This is the place where the Washington Senators dined during their 1924 and 1933 World Series runs, and the iconic DC restaurant is again the place to celebrate, located in close proximity to the parade route, and serving up deals all day.  Rock your best Nationals gear and get 19% off your food purchase in addition to all-day happy hour and $2 Bud Light bottles. And try both themed cocktails, Nats En Fuego (Cotton & Reed Mellow Gold Rum, Chacho – Aguardiente En Fuego, fresh lime, ginger and lime soda) and The Senators (Jefferson’s bourbon, Dolin Blanc, Campari, Benedictine and Carpano Anica), which will be specially priced at $10 each. Walk just a few blocks to the parade route, or hang around and watch from the bar or patio area on three 70-inch screens.

Just two blocks from the site of Saturday’s Victory Parade & Rally, Italian eatery Carmine’s (425 7th Street NW) will have tables set up outside the restaurant (beginning at 10 am) where parade-goers can purchase water, sodas, coffee and Italian sandwich box lunches. Or warm up inside — the Happy Hour menu will be available at the bar all day — and get in the spirit (literally) with special prices ($7) on the Nationals Cooler (bourbon, lemonade and cranberry). Big screen televisions will be set up for parade watching within the bar and restaurant.

Or take the action back to the ballpark area and visit Brighton (949 Wharf Street SW), a Wharf waterfront pub, celebrating with a “Finish the Keg” celebration from 11am to 3am in honor of the parade. Devils Backbone’s baseball beer — a golden pale ale dubbed the Earned Run Ale — will be on draft for $6 a glass all day. Come selfie ready – the entire space will be decked out in Nationals-themed decor, making it a perfect place to celebrate.

And post parade and rally, keep the party going into the night by heading to Bar Code (1101 17th Street NW) from 5:00PM – 10:00PM for its Official Championship Parade After Party which kicks off with a first hour of complimentary drinks, and continues with DJ 5’9 & DJ Quicksilver spinning victory tunes.

We hope your celebrations are safe and responsible.
