Rotating Rooftop Restaurant with Panoramic Views of DC Reopens

If you’ve wanted to sit (or stand) still while slowly rotating around on a rooftop restaurant with 360-degree views of the DC skyline and Potomac, you’ll be thrilled to hear that the storied Skydome has reopened!

Skydome, atop the DoubleTree by Hilton Crystal City Hotel, gives diners an amazing view — and equally amazing eats — thanks to newly appointed Executive Chef Klaus Happel.

After a conceptual revamp, Happel has developed a new dinner menu to complement the fresh space and innovative new bar program. So you can sip your Sunset Sipper or Evening Thyme (stirred with honey harvested from the rooftop apiary!) before settling into hearty seasonal entrees like the 16 oz Grilled Pork Chop Tomahawk,  mouthwatering Wagyu Burger, or delicate Sautéed Gnocchi á la Vodka with jumbo shrimp and asparagus.

The menu is American fare with a Mediterranean flair. The views are entirely unique as this rotating restaurant is bathed in natural light during the day and truly sparkles with the energy of the evening.

Dinner is served at Skydome from 5pm-10pm.
