Holiday Hoops Fest Makes Second Appearance in DC This Weekend

While some in the city are focused on twinkling lights, ice sculptures and holiday markets, others are gearing up for some serious rivalry this season.

The second annual DC Holiday Hoops Fest tournament is coming to the Entertainment and Sports Arena this weekend (December 20 – 22, 2019). Over three days, eight outstanding Division I men’s basketball programs will descend on the District, featuring two games each day.

Akron, Tulane, Liberty and Towson will compete in a tournament format with pre-set games on Friday, December 20 and championship and third place games taking place on Saturday, December 21. On Sunday, December 22, regional showcase matchups will include William & Mary vs. St. Francis (PA) and Richmond vs. Radford.

                             Friday, December 20, 5:00 pm, Liberty University vs. Towson University

                             Saturday, December 21, 1:00 pm, Third Place Game

                             Saturday, December 21, 3:30 pm, Championship Game

                             Sunday, December 22, 1:00 pm, St. Francis University vs. William and Mary 

                             Sunday, December 22, 3:30 pm, Radford University vs. University of Richmond
