A Google Store is Coming to Georgetown

Google’s first retail store in the D.C. region will be at 3235 M Street NW “later this year.” This will now be Google’s sixth retail store nationwide after Google opened a store in Oak Brook (Chicago), IL, in November of 2024.

EastBanc, a commercial real estate developer and majority landowner of Georgetown’s retail properties, announced that the tech giant signed a 10-year lease for the 7,000-square-foot space, which was previously American Eagle’s Aerie, located across from Clyde’s Restaurant.

Once it opens, customers in the DC-area will be able to test and purchase Google devices, accessories, and merchandise, including Google phones and Chromebooks. The store also offers on-site device repair, trade-ins, in-store expert support with device installation and troubleshooting, and programs and educational workshops.
