Free Outdoor Movies Every Friday Evening at The Reach
The Kennedy Center brings back its Summer Film Series @ The REACH from May 30, 2025 – August 29, 2025, offering free outdoor movies every Friday evening. Featuring a vast array of beloved films, the Summer Film Series offers something for everyone with screenings of Chicago, The Bourne Identity, The Lion King, Black Panther, and more.
Experience the magic of the big screen every summer Friday evening at sundown while enjoying the beautiful views of the Potomac River and the vibrant atmosphere of the Kennedy Center’s REACH campus. Films are displayed on the REACH video wall.
This free experience does not require tickets.

No tickets are required for Millennium Stage Outdoor Film screenings on the REACH Video Wall, but registration is encouraged so you can get the most up-to-date status of the films. If not registered, please check the website on the day of the film screening for cancellations or location changes. A limited number of seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis for guests with disabilities. Films start at sundown or around 8:30 p.m.
