We may not be able to travel to the UK for Royal Ascot, but one of our favorite hotels in the city can transport us there with afternoon tea, picnic games, streamed racing, and Ascot attire.
Royal Ascot is the unmissable event of the British summer social and sporting season featuring world-class horse racing, fashion, pageantry, and fine food.
Friday, June 18th from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm, the Fairmont Loggia and courtyard garden will become a Royal Ascot-themed park. Croquette will be played. Hats will be donned. Pimm’s Cups will be sipped. And some of the royals’ own favorite fare will be served.
Fairmont’s Royal Ascot Garden Party will offer guests four options to enjoy the day (see below). Large screens will showcase Royal Ascot scenes, and guests will enjoy pop-ups by Michael Kors and ArtofHats Studio of Leesburg. Land Rover of Alexandria will also be on hand to show off two new Land Rovers in the hotel’s driveway.
