The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA) announces the return of the highly anticipated Mr., Mx, and Miss Capital Pride Pageant, set to take place on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Penn Social in Washington, DC. This vibrant event welcomes contestants of any gender and identity to compete for the crown where they will be assessed on Pride attire, talent, and through a question-and-answer panel. The winner will embody CPA’s pillars of diversity and inclusion and will radiate with the spirit of the LGBTQ+ community in the nation’s capital.

In a world where LGBTQ+ people continue to fight for acceptance and equality, this event stands as a beacon of hope, empowering participants to embrace their identities without fear or judgment.
“We believe in the power of representation and the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels seen and heard,” said CPA Executive Director, Ryan Bos. “The Mr., Mx, and Miss Capital Pride Pageant provides an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the diverse experiences within our community and foster a sense of belonging for all.”
The winners of Mr., Mx, and Miss Capital Pride receive a cash prize and the opportunity to participate in selected official 2024 CPA events not only during the week of the 49th Annual Pride Celebration but also throughout the entire year.
