Celebrating Six at Bibiana
It took its bets on the block years before ‘CityCenter’ was a thing.
Osteria Bibiana Enoteca feted its sixth anniversary in downtown DC last week by raising a glass and some gourmet to six years in business.
A gem of Ashok Bajaj‘s restaurant empire, Bibiana is so much more than a ‘pasta place.’ For the last six years, it has been DC’s go to — garnering a generous number of accolades — for special occasions, power networking meals, and, simply, those nights when you’re craving something simply delicious.
Bibiana’s anniversary reception featured dishes from six regions in Italy, including porchetta, mini calzones, steak tartare garnished with quail egg, Italian apple cake, candied walnuts, and cherry chocolate-filled cannolis.
Among those in attendance were Catherine Merrill Williams of Washingtonian, Manuel Roig-Franzia of The Washington Post, FedScoop’s Cheryl Romero, and Hay-Adams VP and General Manager Hans Bruland.
