Capitol Riverfront Starts the Season… By the Numbers

Did you take yourself out to the ballgame for Opening Day?  Things sure are different in that area around the ballpark, aren’t they? Because you’re not the only one amped up about Spring and baseball season. The Capitol Riverfront area sees your excitement… and multiplies it.

Since last Opening Day, the Capitol Riverfront has made a $1.1 billion investment, which the area will see physically in 2 new office buildings and 3 new residential buildings.  1/2 Street alone has been renovated to offer some 3 million square feet of mixed use development!

16 new restaurants have opened in the last year, and 8 more are already on the way this year.

Baseball fans already count on the season’s 81 home games.  But get ready to rock at 16 outdoor concerts, feel all the feels at 12 outdoor movies, shop local at 52 (weekly) farmers’ markets, and tone it up at 365 (daily) complimentary fitness classes.

That all adds up to a great place to spent time this season!
