a.kitchen+bar’s Pop-Up Gives ‘Snow Day’ Every Weekend

If snow days make you smile, you’ll want to cuddle up and get cozy at a.kitchen+bar dc ‘s “Apres Ski” Cozy Winter Escape, a pop-up experience that’s serving up sips, snacks, and supper, all in a magical “chill” vibe through March 15, 2025.

Every Friday and Saturday, the venue transforms its outdoor space into a festive retreat that is expected to change with the season.

This winter, step out of DC’s (potentially very real) snow and step into a.kitchen+bar’s winter wonderland to be wrapped in faux fur throws, gathered around toasty fire pits, and noshing on comfort foods like delicious melty cheese Raclette and Smoked Lamb Cassoulet surrounded by fluffy flakes coming from the pop-up’s open snow machine.

No show shoveling here! Just a background DJ soundtrack and all the hygge you can handle.

We’re going for the roasted Bonfire Oysters and the “Choose your own adventure” Hot Cocoa + Liege Waffles with pearl sugar. Yummm!
