Adams Morgan Brings Back Drag Queen Storytime
Drag Queen Storytime, a popular story hour series presented by the Adams Morgan BID and the DC Public Library is returning to Unity Park the last Sunday of every month April – October at 11 am.
Perfect for the entire family, the event is free and open to children of all ages. The goal of Drag Queen Storytime is to inspire a love of reading while teaching deeper lessons on diversity, self-love, and an appreciation of others.

- Sunday, May 29 at 11am with Venus Valhalla
- Sunday, June 26 at 11am with Shear Queer
- Sunday, July 31 at 11am with IttyBitty Bat
- Sunday, August 28 at 11am with IttyBitty Bat
- Sunday, September 25 at 11am with Venus Valhalla
- Sunday, October 30 at 11am with Venus Valhalla
The DC Public Library will be in attendance with additional books, information about local libraries, their famous “Library on the Go-Go book bike” and more! Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on or small lawn chair.
Drag Queen Storytime may be moved to the community room at The Line Hotel across the street if there is rain. Please stay tuned to our social media accounts for event announcements the day of the event.
