The Satire: Alexandria’s New Hotel Checks In With Personality
Alexandria has a new place to check in, and this one’s bringing a little more personality to the hotel scene.
Formerly the AK Hotel, The Satire has emerged with a fresh name, a fresh look, and an appropriately playful point of view. The Marriott Autograph rebrand gives the property a more distinctive identity while keeping the focus on the little luxuries that make a hotel stay feel less… layover, and more getway.

The amenities are designed for lingering. Guests can book the property’s intimate 12-seat cinema for a private screening (because sometimes movie night deserves a proper theater). There’s also an on-site Pilates studio, Lalita Method, for those who prefer their vacation wellness with a little core work.
Food and drink get their own starring roles, with two on-property options: The Wise Fool and Bad Poet Cafe. The names alone suggest this isn’t a hotel taking itself too seriously, and that sense of whimsy carries through the experience.

For business gatherings, the boardroom seats up to 20 and extends outdoors, offering a welcome change from the usual windowless meeting setup.
The result is a boutique-minded Alexandria stay that feels social, stylish, and just a little mischievous. With spaces for sipping, stretching, screening, and schmoozing, The Satire is making a case for the hotel as destination, not merely a place to sleep.

Consider The Satire your Alexandria check-in… upgraded with a little sass.
