Ox & Olive Brings Steakhouse Swagger to Georgetown’s Cherry Hill Lane

Georgetown is about to score a delicious dose of steakhouse sophistication as Chef Ryan Ratino, one of the nation’s youngest Michelin-starred talents, prepares to debut Ox & Olive on Cherry Hill Lane in early 2026.

The intimate 50-seat spot promises Midwestern heart with high-end polish, a return to Ratino’s roots wrapped in his signature refined, playful flair.

For Ratino, landing in Georgetown was more than strategy; it was serendipity. When the tucked-away alleyway gem became available, the chef didn’t hesitate. Now, the neighborhood will welcome the newest concept from Hive Hospitality, the powerhouse behind 14th Street’s one-star Bresca, the two-star Jônt just above it, Maass at the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando’s Ômo by Jônt, each boasting Michelin sparkle of its own.

Coming soon at Ox & Olive, diners can expect classic American steakhouse comfort elevated with Ratino’s clever touch: various cuts of steak, polished martinis, wedge salads, baked oysters, and more — simple pleasures served with subtle sophistication. Ratino even hopes to source beef from his home state of Ohio, adding a personal note to every plate.

“There’s something inherently approachable about a steakhouse,” Ratino shares. “We want it to feel comfortable — somewhere you can pop in for a martini at the bar or settle in for a full dinner.”
