Mezcal & Mexican Heritage Month

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexican Independence Day, Vera Cocina & بار  is partnering with acclaimed mezcal brand Cinco Sentidos for an intimate evening centered around creativity and quiet connection. 

On Thursday, September 18 from 7-10pm, guests are invited to Vera’s Atrio and Cocktail Bar to explore the world of small-batch mezcal through a dynamic live production.

Cinco Sentidos will showcase their five expressions, each one honoring Mexico’s rich agave diversity, regional traditions, and the craft of its master mezcaleros. Vera and Cinco Sentidos collaborated to create a beautiful coloring book that tells the story of mezcal, interwoven with Vera’s own unique story of the historical migration of Lebanese people to Veracruz, Mexico, in the late 19th century.

The event will also include a welcome mezcal cocktail, light bites, live band performance, interactive educational experience, and a chance to slow down and engage with the community in a new, meditative way. Tickets can be purchased here.
