Co-hosts Zena Polin and Renée Gentry are celebrating the only way they know how: with bubbles, banter and a live recording event at The Westin Crystal City on Thursday, August 21, from 6:00–8:00 PM.
In a world of wine snobbery, Zena and Renée bring the fun back to the glass. Their podcast demystifies wine without dumbing it down—and their Season Two launch promises more of the same, this time with an effervescent edge. Guests at the event will enjoy a Champagne tasting featuring three elegant pours from Laurent Perrier: La Cuvée Brut, Cuvée Rosé and Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature, all paired with a cheeky selection of salty snacks designed to make your tastebuds sing.
The evening includes a live podcast taping with special guest Molly Finnegan of Laurent Perrier, who’ll join for a “deep-ish dive” into Champagne—covering everything from bubbly basics to behind-the-label tales. Expect audience interaction, laughs and at least one sabered bottle.
