SUMMARY:Calico Fall Festival
DESCRIPTION:Crunchy leaves. Spiced cider. Chunky sweaters. Pumpkin everything. Calico will once again celebrate the changing of the seasons with its 6th Annual Fall Festival on Sunday\, October 11 from 1pm to 9pm. For the sixth year\, the urban backyard in Blagden Alley once again hosts its welcome party for cooler weather\, with a free-to-attend Sunday afternoon fall fest complete with pumpkin painting\, live music\, seasonal cocktails\, cider tastings\, autumnal fare and more festive fun. \nThere’s no need to head to the pumpkin patch this season. Adults 21 and over can also enjoy complimentary Potter’s Craft Cider tastings from 2 to 6 p.m. \nThroughout the afternoon\, live acoustic music will provide the soundtrack to the festivities (3-6pm)\, while a festive photo area inside Calico’s antique greenhouse will be transformed with fall foliage and pumpkins\, creating a seasonal backdrop for photos. \nAnd the gourd fun doesn’t end on October 11. Calico will host additional pumpkin picking and painting parties on Sundays\, October 18 and 25\, giving guests more opportunities to embrace the season in the urban backyard. \nCalico’s 6th Annual Fall Festival is free to attend and open to the public\, with all pumpkins\, food and beverage sold a la carte. For more information\, please visit www.calicodc.com or call 202-791-0134.
