DESCRIPTION:To close out the National Museum of Women in the Art’s Spring 2026 series of after-hours events\, the NMWA Nights Bash on Wednesday\, May 20 from 5:30-8 p.m.\, features art\, music\, performances\, interactive experiences\, cocktails\, and art-making. The series will open again in the fall. \nThe NMWA Nights Bash spotlights live performances by The Lion’s Den DMV\, a Filipina-founded\, DMV-based dance company\, and chitra.MOVES\, an experimental collective of diverse artists that blends Hip Hop\, Street Dance\, and Indian Classical Dance. Acclaimed tattoo pop-up tattooist Katie Heartbreaker offers on-site\, pop-up tattoos (attendees must sign up in advance to reserve a session; limited availability). Those looking for something less permanent can enjoy some temporary tattoos and add a little flair to their look with a hands-on\, beaded pin art-making activity. \nTours run all night through 80 years of abstraction in the exhibition Making Their Mark: Works from the Shah Garg Collection. Plus\, guests can enjoy a high-energy set from DJ Gabz and open dance floor.
