DESCRIPTION:Monday\, April 7\, 2025\nSTC Annual Gala: All the World’s a Stage\nHonoring Hugh Bonneville \nSTC Artistic Director Simon Godwin and renowned journalist Katty Kay join forces for a spectacular celebration at the beautifully restored Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in support of STC’s world-class theatre and education programs. \nAt this year’s gala STC will honor acclaimed stage and screen actor Hugh Bonneville\, known worldwide for his leading role in Downton Abbey\, with the William Shakespeare Award for Classical Theatre (Will Award). STC’s Will Award celebrates outstanding achievement in classical theatre\, and the recipients represent the greatest artists of our time: Jeremy Irons\, Ralph Fiennes\, Morgan Freeman\, Dame Maggie Smith\, Kenneth Branagh\, Dame Judi Dench\, Phylicia Rashad\, and so many more. Bonneville will soon be on the Harman stage in Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya\, directed by Simon in April.
