The event takes place under the stars and in the shadow of the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol and will celebrate the Trust’s 2025 History\, Heroes & Hope Awards\, welcoming special guests and featured presenters. \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 2025 History\, Heroes & Hope Award will honor Rosie Rios\, Chair\, America250 U.S. Congressional Commission\, in recognition of her incredible leadership of the national movement helping to unite the nation around this historic celebration. \nFeatured speakers and presenters will include U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (WV)\, U.S. Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ)\, philanthropist and former Trust honoree David M.
