Monumental Conversation with the Hon. Wes Moore and the Hon. Glen Youngkin

The Trust for the National Mall announced that the governors and first ladies of Maryland and Virginia will join them for this Monumental Conversation “On the Road to 250.”  David M. Rubenstein, a member of the National Mall 250 Cabinet, will moderate this special discussion as we lead up to America’s 250th anniversary.

Join in on September 18, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, for this premier event at the Lincoln Library at the Waldorf Astoria, Washington, D.C.

This will be an intimate luncheon and conversation about the National Mall as a symbol of American history, freedom and independence as we approach the U.S. Semiquincentennial in 2026.

During the event, the Trust will present its History, Heroes & Hope Award to Governor Wes Moore and First Lady Dawn Moore and Governor Glenn Youngkin and First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin. The Trust for the National Mall’s History, Heroes & Hope Award recognizes individuals who honor the spirit and ideals that the National Mall represents for our country, and it has recognized dedicated public servants, long-time volunteers and patriotic donors.
