Beginning Saturday, February 17 from 5 until 7 pm, John Williams of Whitlow’s will host monthly fundraisers at his restaurant to bring attention to Rural Dog Rescue, an all-volunteer organization that saves high risk dogs from kill shelters.
Its focus is on saving dogs that are most in danger of being euthanized – black dogs, seniors, and hounds in particular. Representatives will be at the event with information on available dogs.
The event, sponsored by Tito’s, will feature free trivia hosted by Anywhere Trivia League plus a raffle with 100% of proceeds going to the rescue organization with prizes like dog training classes, Tito’s neon signs and coolers. Whitlow’s will donate 10% of all sales during the event to Rural Dog Rescue.
Additionally, Rural Dog Rescue will receive during February and March, $1 from the sale of the “Dog Days” cocktail: Titos, Aperol, White Cranberry, Hibiscus and lemon.
