The Trust for the National Mall invites you to an exclusive evening with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Rick Atkinson on Monday, May 19, at 6:00 PM, the first in its “On the Road to America’s 250th” Monumental Conversations series in 2025.

Join in for a rooftop reception with stunning panoramic views of the National Mall and an insightful discussion about the founding of our nation. Dr. Lindsay M. Chervinsky, distinguished presidential historian and Executive Director of the George Washington Presidential Library, will join Mr. Atkinson for a conversation about his highly anticipated release, The Fate of the Day, which vividly brings to life the pivotal battles between the Americans and the British.

The evening’s Emcee will be Eric Hoplin, Trust Board Member and President and CEO of the National Association of Wholesaler Distributers.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, join in to uncover the enduring legacy of the Revolution through Atkinson’s unparalleled storytelling.
