Join the Trust for the National Mall for its marquee gala, AMERICA’S BALL for THE MALL, on May 7, 2025, in honor of the Semiquincentennial in 2026, when the National Mall will be center stage for the milestone celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This year, the signature gala on the National Mall celebrates the 50 U.S. states and territories and all of America on the “Road to 250.”

AMERICA’S BALL for THE MALL showcases and supports the work and mission of the Trust and the National Park Service to restore, preserve and elevate the National Mall, now and for generations. The event takes place under the stars and in the shadow of the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol and will celebrate the Trust’s 2025 History, Heroes & Hope Awards, welcoming special guests and featured presenters.

The 2025 History, Heroes & Hope Award will honor Rosie Rios, Chair, America250 U.S. Congressional Commission, in recognition of her incredible leadership of the national movement helping to unite the nation around this historic celebration.

Featured speakers and presenters will include U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (WV), U.S. Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ), philanthropist and former Trust honoree David M. Rubenstein, and the evening’s Emcee, CNN’s Pamela Brown, anchor of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown.
