Amazon Community Day

Amazon Community Day is back in National Landing for its third annual celebration on Saturday, September 26, inviting families, neighbors, local businesses and community partners from across Northern Virginia to gather for a free, family-friendly festival at Met Park.

As Amazon marks two decades of investment and community partnership in Virginia, the company says Community Day is a way to say thank you as part of Amazon’s commitment to being a good neighbor and community partner. Highlights include:

• Think Big Experience: Get hands-on with STEM through interactive experiences including slime, bubble potions, skyscraper building and straw rockets.

• Amazon Alley: Discover local independent sellers and entrepreneurs at this market-style pop-up featuring DMV businesses.

• Foamboree: Jump into an inflatable football-filled foam pit and cool off at the onsite misting tent.

• Children’s Area: Enjoy face painting, glitter tattoos, bubbles, a LEGO wall and more family-friendly fun.

• Brunch Garden (21+): Sip local craft beers and brunch-ready beverages while enjoying the festive atmosphere at Met Park.

• Homecoming Entertainment: Keep the celebration going with a live DJ, remarks, Science Guys of Baltimore and performances from local marching bands and cheer teams.

• Community Library: Take home a complimentary book and get creative at the bookmark decorating station.

• Homecoming Photo Moments: Capture the day with themed photo opportunities and Instagrammable decor throughout the park.

• Lucky 8 Custom Trucker Hat Bar: Customize a trucker hat with game day-inspired patches and Amazon Community Day designs.

• Pet Activations: Bring the pups for a complimentary dog treat bar, stick library, pet caricatures and a dog bandana customization area.

• EatLoco Farmers Market: Shop local vendors offering produce, hot food and handcrafted goods.
