Museum of Illusions DC is putting a surreal spin on sakura season with Illusions in Bloom, a limited-time takeover that’s artful… and eye-bending.

Woven through the museum’s mind-melting rooms, local artist Hiba Alyawer’s floral-forward installations layer cherry blossom motifs onto the venue’s signature tricks of light, scale, and perception. The result is a fresh, fantastical take on one of Washington’s most photographed moments, swapping tidal basin strolls for immersive, Instagram-ready illusions.
