Last night’s book bash was a celebration of Leslie Sanchez and her smart-take on female politics. No pantsuits here, though Leslie certainly had something to say about them!
The regular CNN contributor’s most recent hardback release (“You’ve Come a Long way, Maybe”) is an exploration of the roles of women in politics, with a particular emphasis on Sarah Palin, Hilary Clinton and Michelle Obama’s roles in the 2008 election. You’ll see her talk more about the book on an upcoming episode of The District Dish, so this focus is on the fete.
Eats and sips were arranged by none other than Mario DeArmas from Trading Spaces on TLC. And since the night was about women, and women love chocolate… nearly everyone had Mario’s fave chocolate-tini in hand.
