Legendary singer/actress Diana Ross and John Heffron (NBC’s Last Comic Standing) are coming to the Washington Convention Center for a supremely comedic night on March 12th, headlining the 24th annual Leukemia Ball. One of DC’s largest non-political black tie galas, past headliners have included Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, Dennis Miller, John Mellencamp, Liza Minnelli, Jerry Seinfeld, Dana Carvey, Reba McIntyre, Jim Belushi, Dan Ackroyd and Lionel Richie.
This year’s Ball, expected to raise more than $3M on behalf of The National Capital Area Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, allows for funds to be spent directly to research, patient and community services, advocacy and education.
