Where to Eat [Out] for Easter

It’s Easter Weekend!  If you haven’t made plans, you’d better be hopping to it!  Here are some holiday hot spots that (last we checked) had last minute availability:

The Roof Terrace Restaurant at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is a unique spot for a brunch buffet (11 AM – 2 PM, $39.95 adults, $20 children) and photo-ops with the Easter Bunny .

If you’re looking to don your poshest pastels, visit The Jefferson’s Plume for a a complimentary mimosa or bloody Mary with your brunch buffet. ($95 adults, $45 children).

Sofitel’s Ici Bistro tempts with style to spare, offering a sumptuous spread, including a favorite — brioche French toast with strawberries and toasted pecans.  Yum!

The Grill from Ipanema boasts one of the city’s best deals – and a not so traditional taste!  Get a triple course Easter Brunch (12:00 PM -4:00 PM) for only $18.95 per person. A la carte available as well.

Get a visit from the Virtuous Easter Bunny as you dine at Alexandria’s Virtue Feed & Grain.  Known as a favorite for its Old Town pajama brunch, Vurtue gets a little fancier this weekend.  Try the Church Tea — or go the other way with Toigo Orchards Bloody Hell — either way, if you find one of the lucky golden eggs planted throughout the restaurant, you win a gift card to sister resto, Restaurant Eve.

Or celebrate Easter on the water!  Hop aboard the Odyssey or Spirit of Washington for a special appearance by the Easter Bunny during brunch, lunch and dinner cruises.  Odyssey guests will enjoy an extensive buffet, a complimentary glass of champagne or mimosa for adults, coloring books and crayons for children and live entertainment.  Guests on board the Spirit of Washington will enjoy a lavish buffet, a live DJ for music and dancing as well as coloring books and crayons for the kids.

Eggs are the only thing you want to be hunting for this Easter — get those reservations in right now!
