West Elm introduced its own version of a pop-up shop this weekend, bringing a uniquely Georgetown mix of global bazaar, craft discovery and cozy room design… for six months (or so) to 3333 M Street NW. This short term storefront is a first of its kind for the brand, which plans to sell only a sampling of its product inventory in pop-up shop… but will have complete offerings available through direct-to-customer shipping.
On the day of the pop up’s official opening, frozen Pleasant Pops were offered to customers with sticks etched with prizes and discounts (up to $1,000). In addition, a live “tape” art installation kept everyone’s attention on the temporary theme.
