Wine isn’t just one of the hue’s of the upcoming season. It’s one of the happenings as well! Vino Volo, a popular wine bar/shop opened its 29th location — its 2nd in the DC area — at Tyson’s Galleria last week, expanding its local presence with every pour.
“Building on the success of our Bethesda location, we are excited to continue growing a community of wine lovers in the DC area,” said Vino Volo Founder and CEO Doug Tomlinson. “Adding to our authentic wine country experience, the Tysons team will be sharing their passion for wine by hosting a variety of wine-centric events including spotlights on regions, varietals and styles.”
The full service restaurant, wine bar and wine shop will sell wines by the tasting flight, as well as by the glass and bottle and as part of a “Wine Club.” At night, the wine shop, known as “the Cellar,” transforms into a private dining room for events and special occasions. Vino Volo will also offer a full calendar of its own events, like “Meet the Winemaker” tastings and wine education nights.
