The Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) announced exciting new details for its 21st annual Taste of Georgetown, with food and fun coming your way on September 13 (noon to 5 pm).
In addition to tastes from more than 35 Georgetown restaurants and a Craft Beer and Wine Pavilion, the event this year will include a packed schedule of entertainment and events at the main stage.
Local bakery Baked & Wired will hold a giant ‘cakecup’-eating competition, Georgetown chefs will face off in the Iron Chef-style Georgetown Chefs Showdown, and live acts curated by Gypsy Sally’s will take the stage throughout the day. Expect your earbuds to be just as happy as your tastebuds with sets form Justin Trawick and the Common Good (12:15 -1 pm), Letitia Van Sant & the Bonafides (1:15 – 2 pm), and Human Country Jukebox (3 -4:30 pm).
Activities for kids throughout the event include face painting, balloon-making, and more.
