What if you used the lessons of magazines to change your life: starting over with relationships, health and career? Is your life ‘Up for Renewal’ like the character in Cathy Alter’s newest novel?
Fans of Cathy’s reads had the chance to meet her and pick up a signed copy of her book Thursday night at Ginger Boutique in Bethesda. It was my first time to meet Cathy, also a local English and Literature professor.
Thursday night also brought the great news to friend and fellow blogger, Rachel Cothran of Project Beltway, that she would be a guest commentator on CNN early next week discussing Michelle Obama’s style. She shared the big break with us at the book signing.
Sounds like whether or not we’re ‘Up for Renewal,’ those of us in DC are always up to something. Kudos Cathy and Rachel!
