Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Your retail heaven opened Thursday in Union Station, when officials cut the ribbon to open “the first exclusive lottery retailer, to our knowledge, in a train station,” according to D.C. Lottery Executive Director Buddy Roogow (above).
