Tuckernuck Coming to Georgetown

Pinterest Summer '15-11A new spot for procuring trendy garments and traditional home goods will soon be opening a permanent address in Georgetown.  This week it was announced that Tuckernuck — the erstwhile solely online purveyor of classic American clothes, accessories and home décor — has signed a long-term lease to occupy the south retail space at 1055 High Residences overlooking the C&O Canal in Georgetown.  This first ever brick-and-mortar Tuckernuck will be the first tenant to occupy the storefront retail space below the new condominium building.  A grand opening is slated for March 2016.EBI1501 1055 Wisc Retail Side closeup

“Georgetown has always been home to us from our first office above an old garage to our current office on the quaint cobblestones of Potomac Street,” says store c0-founder Jocelyn Gailliot. “It’s natural that our first concept store would be in our own backyard where specialty stores are few and far between these days.”

The Tuckernuck store will feature the brand’s offerings of original lifestyle themes with new product assortments every month.  Also of interest are a new Monogram Bar and “Best Sellers Wall,” where devotees can find Barbour jackets, Sperry boat shoes, and Saint James striped shirts year-round.
