Trending: Fall’s Best Beauty Bets

There’s make-up… and then there’s beauty’s main event: Skincare.  And with the coming cooler weather — and drier, scratchier skin — serums, sebums, creams and caviars (yes, caviars!) are an arsenal essential.

Here’s some of the season’s best new beauty bets to save your skin — and a little bit more:

1 La Prairie: A perfect place to start with superior skincare.  2012 is the 25th anniversary of Caviar, La Prairie’s luxurient beauty beads.  So it’s also prime time to release the new Skin Caviar Liquid Lift – a firming and lifting super serum.   One drop helps to lift, firm and provide a long-lasting tensing effect.

2 CHANEL: OK, this one’s less about firming, more about fragrance…  CoCo has come up with a new one just in time for us to fall in love all over again. CoCo Noir, the first big new parfum presented for the Fall, is deeper, darker denser than other CoCo collections.  Inhale the essence of grapefruit, bergamot, and rose while falling into its sandalwood, vanilla, and patchouli base.

3 Kiehl’s:  Those with dark spots and other uneven skin tone troubles will celebrate Kiehl’s new Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Serum.  It works fast, and continues to diminish discolorations with added use.  And you only need a little, so this bottle is really long lasting!

4 Estee Lauder: Granddaugher Aerin is in control and this Lauder house is looking just a little bit different.  Even with all the new products and palettes, there’s this one product that really deserves lip service.  As a moisturizing lipstick base or an overnight moisture treatment, EL’s Lip Conditioner can’t be overlooked.  And while you’re primping your pout, check out their new limited edition Pure Color Luminizers to take that smile to a new range of shades.

5 Guerlain:  Guerlain has beauty innovations galore — starting with its Orchidee Imperiale Cream, which experts agree is over the top. Complement that with the line’s new mask, neck and decollete cream, and toner.  And for another Guerlain goody (that’s easy on the eyes!) stop by the beauty counter to check out Noir G, the first and only refillable mascara compact.

6 Sisley-Paris: Eau My!  Sisley’s delivered a demaquillant devine.  This new Eau Efficace 3-in-1(cleansing, removing and toning) is a glam girl’s game changer. Currently only available in 300ml, but we’re pushing for a travel size.

7 Laura Mercier:  Finally, our favorite Tinted Moisturizer is available in a convenient compact! This lightweight crème formula — with SPF 20 and a subtle color — is perfect for travel and touch ups for a flawless face finish.

8 Le Metier de Beaute: A relatively new brand, that’s making big beauty waves! One of our favorite products from the brand is its tried and true Lash Growth Serum, but what we want to see from Le Metier in Fall 2012 is a wider release of its gentle — yet oh-so-efficient — Biphase Eye Make-Up Remover, that’s not even on the market in America. (Join us in a call to action, America!)

9 Chantecaille: Oh to keep that summer glow!  Chantecaille’s Radiance Gel Bronzer blends easily, improves elasticity and prevents inflammation all while providing that coveted sun-kissed complexion.  And here you can even do good while looking good.   We love Chantecaille’s palettes… and with this one new for Fall 2012, the company donates 5% of proceeds to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to rescue, foster and release baby elephants orphaned by ivory poaching.
