Tiny Jewel Box Shows World’s Rarest Pink Diamonds

Tiny Jewel Box will host a public exhibit of the world’s rarest pink diamonds later this week (September 10–13). Twenty to 30 pieces valued at $25 million will be on display — with select pieces available for purchase. This is the first time this collection of rare Argyle Diamonds will be on display in the United States.

The Argyle Diamond Mine, the world’s largest producer of pink diamonds, supplies 90% of the world’s pink diamonds, which attract 20 times the price of an equivalent white diamond.  Argyle pink diamonds are scarce — an entire year’s worth can fit in the palm of your hand — and the mine has only an estimated eight years left of production, making them some of the most highly coveted gems in the world.

The Tiny Jewel Box exhibit is open to the public, and presents a rare opportunity for collectors to purchase one-of-a-kind pink, fancy red, and blue diamonds (with a hero piece valued at four million dollars!)  Catch them quick!  This fleeting collection moves on from Tiny Jewel Box to the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong.
