Three Days of Fashion, Art & Design Kicks-Off in Georgetown

A trio and a new trend.  Georgetown kicked off it’s new “FAD”… Fashion + Art + Design Thursday evening in Cady’s Alley, creating a long IMG_8789weekend of neighborhood fall style and culture events at 80 neighborhood fashion specialty stores, art galleries, home furnishings and design showrooms, salons and restaurants.

Hosted by the Georgetown Business Improvement District, this three-day celebration started with the unveiling of a unique public art project from No Kings Collective during a media and industry preview, and continued with retail hosted shopping parties, red carpets and FAD photo booths, special foodie deals, a Book Hill Gallery Art Walk and more.

By definition, fads come and go… but this FAD could be a Georgetown party with staying power.
