Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Saturday night, Nomi Ansari’s fashions were showcased in a benefit for Fashion for Pakistan, a non-profit dedicated to victims of the Pakistani flood, held at the Westin Arlington Gateway. Hosts Nauman and Sofia HD and charity Founder Shannon Grewer sold out the fashion fete which featured male and female modern traditional Pakistani clothing.
